"Painted Desert" Upcycled Functional Furniture Art

"Painted Desert" is a super cool clash of Southwestern meets Grunge!
This is an original piece of upcycled functional furniture art. It showcases many layers of a beautifully textured and thoughtfully aged look. It is rich in colors and has so much depth.

There are layers of deep reds, burnt oranges, golds, and even umber. The colors were hand applied along with texturizing materials, randomly stenciled, lightly distressed, and finished off with some antiquing gels, and lightly brushed metallic embellishments for that perfect grunge look.

The gorgeous wood grain on the top of the piece was completely sanded down and stained a rich walnut color to enhance its beauty. The backside of the piece was also painted to increase its usage options as a freestanding kitchen island, studio work station, entryway catchall, entertainment center, coffee bar, pet bed, or more.

The 2 drawers have been lined with a coordinating fabric, while the bottom nook was simply stained. This small piece has lots of storage despite being compact.

This piece is approx. 31.5" tall x 36" wide x 20" deep. As with all of my original pieces this is artist signed.
